Last night was a murder scene. I have no further comment. On to today.
Twins (Gibson) (-1.5) – The Twins have won 4 straight and they have scored 35 runs in their last three games including 11 last night against this White Sox team. They will take on Manny Banuelos today who comes in with a 7.26 earned run average. Banuelos has had three terrible starts in a row allowing 9 runs in 2.2 innings, 5 runs in 4.1 innings, and 5 runs in 4 innings. Kyle Gibson will pitch for the Twins and he has been good this year coming into this one 4-2. The Twins should score plenty of runs for him so he can pitch with a lead.
Yankees (Happ) (-150) – Make sure you’re betting on Game 1 and Happ/Junis are pitching for your bet to have action. Happ has held this Royals offense to a .196 avg in 56 at bats. Meanwhile, the Yanks lineup will basically be hitting off of a tee today when they face Junis. They come in with a .340 avg in 47 at bats against him. Junis has lost his last three starts and he should lose his fourth in a row today.
Padres (Quantrill) (-121) – The Padres have won 4 games in a row and it’s time to start taking advantage of betting on them. They have a great matchup today against the Jays who have lost 4 of their last 5. Edwin Jackson will pitch for the Jays and they lost 12-2 in the last game he pitched. This Padres lineup comes in with a .342 avg in 38 at bats against him. Cal Quantrill will pitch for the Padres and it will be like a homecoming for him pitching in Toronto where his dad Paul pitched for 14 years. He should have a little extra motivation today. He got touched up in his last start but he was good in his first two before that. I like the Padres to stay hot today.
Diamondbacks / Giants Over (8) – The Diamondbacks basically tripled the over themselves last night scoring 18 of the 20 total runs scored last night. 28 total hits. I’m not sure how this line is being offered at 8 today but I’ve verified on multiple books. Both starting pitchers have recently been called up from the minors and both have struggled. Taylor Clarke will pitch for the DBacks and he allowed 4 runs in 4.2 innings in his last minor league start. Andrew Suarez will pitch for the Giants and he allowed 3 runs in his first Major League start of this season on Monday. He posted a 6.33 earned run average in six starts in the minor leagues before that. This is the MAJOR LEAGUES boys! I’m expecting both lineups to put up runs today. OVER!
Mets (Vargas) (-1.5) – Ryan Carpenter will start for the Tigers and that is a gift from the sportsbetting gods after how our night went last night. This guy has 2 starts at the Major League level this season and he’s allowed 8 runs over 4 innings and 6 runs over 5 innings. The Tigers lost both of those games 13-0 and 11-4. Jason Vargas will pitch for the Mets and he had a couple rough starts earlier this season but other than that he has been solid this season. I think the Mets will give him plenty of run support today.
Twins ML / Mets ML (+123) – JACKHAMMER – no write up necessary for this one. You can see the break downs of each game above since we are playing the run lines individually but we will play the high percentage moneylines in this parlay for the JACKHAMMER! Double down, triple down, bet whatever the fuck you want on this one. $1,000 wins $1,230. LFG!
