UFC will be back in action in Jacksonville, Florida tonight with UFC Fight Night 176. The prelims will go off right after 6 p.m. EST and the main event will likely take place about 6 hours after that. There are some entertaining fights on the card for tonight and some really good betting opportunities on the table. The highlights of the night will be the main event between Alistair Overeem vs Walt Harris. The storyline in this one is that this will be the first time that Walt Harris returns to the ring since his step daughter was murdered. It will certainly be a night with high emotions. Let’s take a look at the card for tonight.
UFC Fight Night 176 Prelims:
Rodrigo Nascimento (7-0) vs Don’Tale Mayes (7-3):
Nascimento comes in at 6’3 255 and Mayes is at 6’6 241. We have a free pick for this fight and you can get it HERE.
Cortney Casey (8-7) vs Mara Romero Borella (12-7):
These two fighters are both fighting at 125 pounds tonight and quite honestly, I would not want to be an ex boyfriend of either one of them because they would kick the fucking shit out of me.
Darren Elkins (25-8) vs Nate Landwehr (13-3)
The books are slightly favoring Darren Elkins in this matchup at (-125) on the moneyline.
Irwin Rivers (9-4) vs Giga Chikadze (9-2):
Chikadze is the huge favorite in this fight at (-350) on the moneyline and falling. That’s due to his height advantage of 6’0 against Rivers 5’6. Probably a nice parlay piece, it’s like a senior in high school bullying a freshman.
Anthony Hernandez (7-1) vs Kevin Holland (16-5):
This fight is at a pickem although Holland has more experience. It will be interesting to see how this fight plays out but I will not be betting this one.
Matt Brown (24-16) vs Miguel Baeza (8-0):
The undefeated Baeza is the favorite in this one at (-150) on the moneyline. He has the 2 inch height advantage but gives up half an inch on reach.
UFC Fight Night 176 Main Card
