It was great to have the PGA Tour back in action and it gave us some good golf to watch and bet on over the last four days. We came into Round 4 today looking for a mismatch that we could take advantage of. We were confident in Justin Rose being matched up against Corey Connors on the sportsbooks so we bet it. Here’s a look back at the PGA pick from 6-14 and then the review.
Round Matchup Justin Rose over Corey Connors
Rose was the leader after the first day and is still very much in contention today. He had a very frustrating round yesterday where he was sticking them to around 10 feet, but just could not get the ball to drop in the hole. We are going to bank that a few of his missed putts drop today, which should put him in great position to beat Corey Connors. Connors has been playing solid, but we think a final round with all the star power around him could affect his play. Let’s ride Rosey Boy today!
Mr. Justin Rose showed up to play today like we expected and posted a 66 which beat Corey Connors by 5 strokes. Justin Rose finished just 1 stroke off of Daniel Berger who won in a playoff. Connors started off with a bogey and was never really aggressive the rest of the day. Rose had back to back birdies on 5 and 6 and that’s when we really started to feel good about this one. He then birdied 10, 12, and 13 to really pull away from Connors. One KofSports member cashed in on this one for $100.
It was good to get off to a good start with the return of the PGA tour. Be sure to check in next week for more winning PGA picks like this!
