We went into the second round of the RBC Heritage on Friday looking to take advantage of a matchup that one golfer won by 5 strokes in Round 1 on Thursday. Here’s a look back at the PGA picks for RBC Heritage Round 2 and a review:
PGA Picks RBC Heritage Round 2 Matchup
JT Poston (-165) vs Danny Willett – JT Poston came out and posted a 67 yesterday which had him just 3 shots off of the lead to end the first round. Even with a bogey on 18, he still beat Danny Willett by three strokes. Poston was aggressive yesterday and birdied 3 of the first 5 holes on the back 9. Look for him to come out aggressive again today and he should beat Danny Willet in this Round 2 matchup. This should be a high percentage play for us.
We were loving the fact that JT Poston beat Danny Willett by three strokes in Round 1 of the RBD Heritage on Thursday. This one was close right down to the finish. They were tied when the horn rang for a weather delay. It was looking like we were going to have to wait until the early hours of Saturday morning to have this bet settled. Luckily, the weather moved through and they were able to finish up. Danny Willett bogeyed 18 and that was the difference between a win and a push for us. We will take it and we are on to Round 3 on Saturday.
It was good to get another winner for our PGA head to head bets. That’s 2-0 post pandemic but who’s counting!? Be sure to check in Saturday and Sunday for more winning PGA picks like this!
