KBO Picks 6-23
KBO picks 6-23 – We are always confident in our picks but our most confident picks come when we are “guaranteeing” wins. Another guaranteed winner hit today with the NC Dinos coming through for us. That improves our “Guaranteed” pick record to 10-3 on the KBO season. We know you guys enjoyed the guarantee. Let’s take a look back at both picks from today and review the KBO final scores and results.
NC Dinos (-140)
Well hello there with this value to start the week. We have the best team in the league with one of the best pitchers in the league. Drew Rucinski with start for the Dinos and he comes in 4-1 with a 2.50 ERA on the season. The Dinos beat the Wiz 7-6 the last time Rucinski pitched against them even though they were out hit. Odrisamer Despaigne will pitch for the Wiz and he allowed 3 runs over 5 innings in his last start against the Dinos. Despaigne has had his ups and downs this season but one of the downs was when he allowed 10 runs in 5 innings against a good Doosan lineup. The Dinos are definitely capable of putting up a crooked number on him and Rucisnki should give us another quality start. Dinos at -140 to start the week. Guaranteed winner or money back!
KBO Final Score NC Dinos 4 KT Wiz 3
It’s always nice getting off to a good start when you bet on any sport. That was the case today when the Dinos took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Eui-ji Yang got the run across with a sacrifice fly to left field. The Dinos got another run in the 4th inning on an RBI single by Jin-hyuk No. The Wiz then hit back to back homeruns in the bottom of the 4th to tie the game at 2. Eui-ji Yang came through for the Dinos again in the 6th by leading off the inning with a go ahead homerun. Jin-hyuk No had another RBI single to give the Dinos the lead that they would not surrender. It was another good start for pitcher Drew Rucinski who’s only blemish on the day were the back to back homeruns in the 6th inning. He pitched 7 and only allowed 3 earned runs to pick up his 5th win on the season.
Doosan Bears (-170)
Doosan is 2-1 against the Wyverns this season. Chris Flexen will be pitching for the Bears in this game. Somehow, some way, Flexen only has 2 wins on the season but he has the 8th best ERA in the league. He has not allowed more than 3 runs in any of his 7 starts this season. The Bears bats will face Tae-hoon Kim who they have not faced yet this season. To put Kim’s season in perspective, he has 1 win and that came against the 10-32 Hanwha Eagles. Is there much more that needs to be said for this one? Big moneyline but let’s use it as a building block to put together a BIG winning streak this week.
KBO Final Score Doosan Bears 9 SK Wyverns 2
We tried to point out the fact that Tae-hoon Kim wasn’t a great pitcher and that showed in this game. Kim allowed 6 earned runs over 5 innings. The Bears offense scored early and often in this one. 2 in the first, 3 in the third, 1 in the fifth, 2 in the sixth, and 1 in the seventh. It’s tough to keep up with an offense like that. Especially when you’re facing a Top 10 pitcher like Chris Flexen who only allowed 2 runs over 6 innings. Funny to see that the Bears were able to win in blowout fashion even though they were out hit 14 to 13. That is the second time this season that the Wyverns have out hit the Bears but still lost. We will take it!
