KBO Picks 6-27 Sweep

KBO Picks 6-27 sweep went a perfect 3-0 for us and we are now 6-2 on the week for KBO Picks. Let’s take a look back at the picks, analysis, and review each one! KOOOOOOFSPORTS!

Kiwoom Heroes (-165)

Eric Jokisch will pitch for the Heroes and he comes in 6-2 on the season with a 1.63 ERA. He pitched against the Kia Tigers in his first start of the season and he only allowed 1 run over 5 innings. Jokisch has allowed 1 run or less in 5 of his 9 starts this season. Hyun-jong Yang will pitch for the Tigers and he is a well respected starter. However, he gave up 4 runs in 3 innings the last time he faced this Heroes lineup earlier this season. Yang is also coming off of his worst start of his career where he allowed 8 runs in 4 innings in a 12-5 loss. This matchup is looking good for the Heroes.

KBO Final Score Kiwoom Heroes 2 Kia Tigers 0

We were banking on Eric Jokisch in this one and boy did he deliver. How’s 8 innings, no runs, and 1 hit for a performance when you have money riding on him? GREAT outing and we were confident that he would deliver based on his performance this season. The Kia Tigers only got 2 hits in the whole game. This game may have been the quickest “professional” baseball game to ever be played. That was a great, stress free winner for us to start our day. “What a great pick, Kof!”

Doosan Bears (-145)

Raul Alcantara ladies and gentlemen. He comes into this one 7-1 which leads the league for wins. The thought of betting against the NC Dinos can be intimidating but you can be confident with Alcantara on the mound. He only allowed 1 run over 7 innings against this Dinos lineup two weeks ago. The Bears won that game 9-1. Sung-young Choi will pitch for the Dinos and he has been hit hard in 2 of his 3 starts this season. His last start was on June 9th and ironically it was against this same Doosan lineup. The Bears scored 4 runs in 3.2 innings that game. I expect Raul Alcantara to give us another quality start and the Bears shouldn’t have trouble getting him run support against Choi.

KBO Final Score Doosan Bears 12 NC Dinos 3

When Raul Alcantara is on the mound, you put your money on him. He is now 8-1 on the season after another great performance today. He pitched 7.2 innings and only allowed 3 runs. The Bears took an early lead in this one and then EXPLODED for 9 runs in the 8th inning. The Dooooos was looose in this one and the Bears cash in for us. This one was the best of the 3 KBO picks 6-27.

KT Wiz Over (5.5)

The Wiz will take on the worst team in the league and Min-woo Kim who we have made money betting against recently. Kim has allowed 4 or more runs in each of his last 4 starts. The Eagles opponents have gone over 5.5 in each of Kim’s last 4 starts with run totals of 9, 12, 7, and 8. It’s not just this year that Kim has been getting hit around, here are his ERA’s over the last five seasons – 5.36, 6.75, 6.52, 17.18, and 15.83. The guy sucks and so do the Eagles.

Top 9 homerun to hit the over

KBO Final Score KT Wiz 7 Hanwha Eagles 2

No, this one wasn’t fun. Until the 9th inning. The Wiz got our hopes up and let us down a few times with the bases loaded. They missed multiple opportunities but easily could have scored 10+ runs in this game like we expected. It came down to the 9th inning and they were able to come through with an opposite field homerun to hit the over for us! BOOM!
