2-0 last night and 4-0 to start the week! We have a full slate of action ahead of us today so let’s get right into it and STAY HOT!!

2:00 EST

Cubs (Hendricks) (-162) – The Cubs will host a young Marlins team for this best of 3 series. The Cubs will have Kyle Hendricks in the hill and he has been great in this short season with 8 starts pitching 6+ innings and allowing 2 or less earned runs. He didn’t face the Marlins this season but he’s had success against them in the past holding them to a .225 avg in 80 at bats. The Cubs will face 25 year old Sandy Alcantara and they come in with a .294 avg in a small sample size of 34 at bats. They’ve scored 8 runs in their last 11 innings vs Alcantara. GO CUBS GO!

Result – Loss – Marlins 5 Cubs 1

7:00 EST

Yankees / Indians Over (8) – These two combined for 15 runs in Game 1 and that was in large part to the Yankees putting up 12 runs. They got 7 against the best pitcher in the league this season. They will face Carlos Carrasco tonight who hasn’t faced a powerful lineup like the Yankees this season. He’s had multiple starts against the Pirates, Tigers, & Royals (weak lineups). Masahiro Tanaka will pitch for the Yankees and the Indians lineup is hitting around .300 against him. Tanaka has allowed 3 or more runs in 3 of his last 4 starts. I’m liking the over at even money tonight.

Result – Win – Yankees 10 Indians 9 (the over hit in the top of the 4th inning)

Cross Sport Parlay:

9:00 EST

L.A. Parlay

Lakers ML / Dodgers (Buehler) ML (+116) – Should we bring out Snoop again on the big stage? NBA Finals and MLB Playoffs for these two L.A. teams and this looks like a high percentage play. The Lakers will take on the Heat who they went 2-0 against in the regular season. The Lakers are the better and more experienced team in this series and that’s ultimately what the difference will be. Lakers take Game 1.

Then we have the Dodgers who own the best MLB record and have been my pick to win the World Series since the season began. Even for a team that clinched early, they finished the regular season strong by going 10-2 in their final 12. The lineup is DEEP and they led the league in runs per game at 5.82. Brewers starter Brent Suter shouldn’t last long since he pitched 3 or less innings in 13 of his 14 appearances this season. Walker Buehler will pitch for the Dodgers and L.A. went 7-1 in games he started this season. Go Dodgers!

Result – Winner – Lakers 116 heat 98 / Dodgers 4 Brewers 2 / Snoops High
