3-2 yesterday after a 4th quarter gag by the Ravens to allow a backdoor cover and an ugly performance by the Packers. The Dodgers came through for us! We get to start our week off with a Monday Night Football double header.
Chiefs (-5.5) – They are coming off an ugly game but so are the Bills. The Chiefs defense needs to focus on stopping the big plays and they should be fine. The Bills allowed the Titans to go 6 for 6 in the Red Zone last week and rack up 334 yards of offense. They will have their hands full against Pat Mahomes and this Chiefs offense. There is some concern with the Chiefs O line after Mahomes was sacked 3 times last week but I trust him to make plays if the banged up O line breaks down. I think this one will be a good one but the Chiefs defense will force a turnover or 2 that will be the difference and they will cover.
Josh Allen Total Touchdown Passes Over (1.5) – The Chiefs defense is coming off of a game where they allowed 40 points and Derek Carr threw for 3 touchdowns in that game. The Bills also gave up 40+ points in their most recent game so I expect this one to be a shootout which favors this player prop big time. Josh Allen has thrown 2 or more touchdowns in all 5 of his games this season. This one should be an easy winner for us.
Cardinals (+1) – I have a hard time trusting the Cowboys who have had the leagues worst defense to this point in the season and I have a hard time trusting Andy Dalton at quarterback. But the Cowboys are America’s team and America will still bet on them no matter what, that’s the only way I see them as being the listed favorites in this game. I do trust the Cardinals defense that currently ranks #8 in the league especially going up against Dalton now that Dak Prescott is out. The Cards should be able to establish their run game against the Cowboys who have allowed 155 yards per game on the ground. That should open up the passing attack as well and the Cards have had a balanced attack this season. I’ll take the Cardinals as “underdogs” tonight.
Kenyan Drake Total Rushing Yards Over (61.5) – The Cardinals shouldn’t have a problem getting Kenyan Drake going tonight against this Cowboys defense that has allowed an average of 155 yards per game on the ground. Drake has run for 60 or more yards in 4 of his 5 games this season and the Cowboys will be the best matchup for him to date. Look for him to go over 61.5 tonight.
