Cinci went over for us but they teased us on the 1st quarter line when they fumbled on the 3 yard line and then got a pick 6 8 seconds into the 2nd quarter. Big day of football ahead of us today! Tiger is still finishing up his 2nd round as we speak so hopefully he comes through for us to finish yesterday 2-1. Tough Round 3 matchups on the board today so we will stick to football and then get back on The Masters tomorrow.

Miami (+115) – A road Top 10 team getting 2 points on the road. Sign me up for the moneyline. Miami comes in 6-1 and Va Tech has lost 3 of their last 5 games. The offense has not been the problem for Miami. D’Eriq King has thrown 16 touchdowns to 4 interceptions. Miami’s running game has under performed this season but today will be the day that they go off! Virginia Tech has allowed opponents to average 202.9 yards per game on the ground. Liberty ran for 249 last week and their QB ran for over 100. The running game has been the primary focus for Virginia Tech but their top running back is dealing with a hamstring injury. Miami will take any help they can get this year and that’ll be a huge help if VA Tech’s top RB can’t play. This one might be close into the second half but Miami has found ways to win games this season and they’ll do that again today.

Moneyline Parlay

North Carolina ML / Notre Dame ML / Florida ML / Oregon ML (+111) – Our big moneyline parlay of the week to get +111. UNC bounced back in a big way last week with a 56-24 win over Duke. They have had a couple upset losses in recent weeks but they are 3-0 at home with all 3 of those wins coming by multiple scores. Notre Dame comes in ranked #2 and they are playing a Boston College team that is 0-3 against ranked opponents this season. The #6 Gators are coming off of a 44-28 win over #5 Georgia. They aren’t losing at home to old friend Feleipe Franks. Closing it out we have #11 Oregon. They looked good in their opener beating Stanford 35-14. It was just one game though. I expect another good performance and trust their defense more than Washington State. I won’t lie, we could be sweating this last one out but I think Oregon will get us the win.

3:30 EST

Notre Dame (-5.5) / NC State (-4.5) – Notre Dame comes in 7-0 and they knocked off #1 Clemson last week which has earned them #2 in the rankings. They will go on the road to play a Boston College team that has had their ups and downs this season. Even though Trevor Lawrence didn’t play, last weeks double overtime win puts Notre Dame on the next level. BC is 5-3 but they’ve lost all 3 games against ranked opponents. The Irish have scored 10 more ppg and allowed 20 less ppg than Boston College. The Golden Domers should cover the teased -5.5 today.

Florida State had a hell of a week losing their best player for the season, their top receiver is no longer on the team, & former starting QB is transferring. They are also coming off of two straight losses with final scores of 48-16 and 41-17. The ship is sinking for the Seminoles. NC State has two losses in a row as well but those were against ranked opponents and they almost beat Miami last week. Florida State might be forced to go with a true freshman at QB if Jordan Travis can’t play. NC State has been good getting after the QB this season with 21 sacks and that pressure should force the Noles into multiple turnovers. NC State has averaged 32.9 ppg this season and they should light up the scoreboard against this FSU defense that has allowed 35.9 ppg this season. FSU is in a tough spot right now and it looks like it could be the third straight week that they get blown out. ICEBURG! The ship is sinking. Go Wolfpack!

Arkansas / Florida Over (61) – Taking the over in Florida games has been a good bet this year with 4 of their 5 games going over 61. The one that didn’t had 58 so they were close. Florida scored 38 points in the first half vs one of the best defenses in the country last week. Their top target Kyle Pitts is questionable after that dirty hit last week but Florida has plenty of weapons. Florida has been one of the best offenses led by Kyle Trask and his 22 touchdowns to 3 int. Expect another 40+ point performance from the Gators. That leaves us needing 20ish from Arkansas. Good thing for us is that former Florida QB Feleipe Franks will be motivated to face his former team after losing his job to Trask last season. The Gators defense has been better lately but Arkansas should be able to get us 20+. Saturday Night OVER on ESPN.
