4-0 sweep yesterday for a HUGE day for us! We had some scares early but everything worked out for us and we capped the night with Florida covering the over themselves for us. Let’s keep that momentum going today! Winning days Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat, & Sun sounds good to me!
Aaron Jones Total Rushing Yards Over (69.5) – Jones has had 69 or more rushing yards in 3 of his last 5 games. The X factor for this prop bet is the fact that there are going to be 25 mph winds and rain during this game today so the Packers will be looking to run the ball. Also, the Jaguars defense has not been good against the run and they have allowed an average of 138 yards per game. Run Aaron run! Over!!
Kareem Hunt Total Rushing Yards Over (63.5) – Kareem Hunt has two big things going for him on this prop bet, he’s going against the worst run defense in the league and 30 mph winds are in the forecast for this game today. The Texans have allowed 159.5 rushing yards per game this season. Nick Chubb will be playing for the first time in over a month but Hunt went over 63.5 rushing yards in 3 of the 4 games that they both played in earlier this season. There won’t be a lot of passing today so look for a lot of hand offs. Hunt has at least one run of 10 yards or longer in each game this season. He’s capable of breaking big plays and his chances are even better against this Texans defense today. He should go over 63.5 like he has in 6 of his 8 games this season.
Dolphins (-125) – After 4 straight wins and a good win last week against a good Cardinals team, the Dolphins are legit. They have a top 5 defense holding opponents to 20 ppg. Tua made his first NFL start last week and he went 20-28 for 248 and 2 touchdowns. He also ran for 35 yards. The Chargers come in just 2-6 and these two teams are headed in different directions this season. The hype is around Tua vs Herbert. Tua has the better defense backing him and that will be the difference in this game today. Dolphins come out on top.
Bills (+9) / Seahawks (+8.5) – Here’s our underdog teaser of the day with two teams that very well might win outright. The Bills come in 7-2 but they head out to the West Coast to take on a good Cardinals team. Both of these teams can put up points quick and this one should be a shootout. The Cardinals are coming off of a loss to the Dolphins who the Bills already beat this season. This game will go back and forth but I’m more of a believer in Buffalo, especially getting +9 on this teaser.
Then we have the Seahawks who rank #1 in points per game at 34.2 but rank #30 in points allowed per game at 30.4. They will be without two running backs today so look for Russell Wilson to air it out and build on his 28 touchdown pass season. The Rams have one of the best defenses in the league but more than half of their opponents have had losing records this season. They gave up 28 to Miami last week and 35 to Buffalo earlier this season, I think the Seahawks offense will be good enough to keep them in this game and cover +8.5.
Steelers (-1) / Saints (-3.5) – The Steelers come in a perfect 8-0 on the season and they will be going up against a bad 2-5-1 Bengals team. The Steelers come in with the #4 ranked defense holding opponents to 20.1 ppg. The Steelers lead the league with 32 sacks so expect them to get plenty of pressure on Joe Burrow. Pittsburgh had a wake up call last week where they almost lost to the Cowboys but they survived. Expect a better performance today at home. Big Ben has also been cleared from the Covid list. The Steelers have won 10 straight games against the Bengals and they should make it 11 today.
Then we have the Saints who are coming off of a statement win against the Bucs. Some would say the Saints could have a let down game here but not at home against this 49ers team who will be without their starting QB, top TE, top RB, & WR. The list goes on for the Niners but those are key pieces that are missing. The 49ers looked like an expansion team in their last game against the Packers and it took two garbage time touchdowns to make the final score look respectable after trailing 34-3 with 5 minutes left. The Saints aren’t having a let down game here. Look for the Saints to keep the momentum going as they go for their 6th straight win and they should cover -3.5 with no issues. Who dat!
Dustin Johnson To Win (-290) – DJ had to go out and pull away with it yesterday and go into Sunday with a 4 stroke lead. No real analysis here other than the fact that he’s not going to blow a 4 stroke lead. I also don’t feel bad taking the free money even though it’s -290 since we all took DJ to finish Top 10 at -140 on Thursday. Take the free money. Give the man his green jacket.
