Terrible day for us yesterday but 3 of the 4 losses can be blamed on injuries. The other one can be blamed on turnovers! It was still a great week overall even though the weekend wasn’t as good as we had hoped it would be. Let’s see what we have for today to kickoff another winning week.
Bruins / Islanders Under (5.5) – Both of these teams have started the season with low scoring games. The Bruins had to settle their first two games in shootouts after having 4 and 2 goals scored in regulation. The Islanders had a 4-0 win in their first game and then a 5-0 loss in their second game. Low scoring games are the trend when these two teams get together and 8 of their last 10 head to head matchups have gone under 5.5.
Flyers (-160) – The Flyers come in 2-0 and they have looked great to start the season. They’ve scored 5+ goals in each game and they won both games by 3 goals. The Sabres come in 0-2 and they gave up 6 goals in their first game of the season. The Flyers went 2-0 against the Sabres last season with wins of 6-1 and 3-1. Look for the Flyers to get the win for us tonight.
Nets (+2) – Harden had one warm up game against the Magic but now the Nets will get right into it with their top competition in the Eastern Conference. The Bucks are hot right now and they have won 8 out of their last 10 games. Although in those games, they have not played a team with Kevin Durant and James Harden on it. Kyrie has also been listed as questionable and could return for this game tonight. Whether the Nets have 2 or 3 of their big 3, let’s take them as underdogs and thank the books later. BROOOOOOKLYNNNN!!
