When you guys voted on the Fanduel Same Game Parlay you probably didn’t think this Braves and Nationals game would be the one we would jump on. We have a good matchup here though to get us this -147 two player parlay.
Ozzie Albies To Record a Hit
Juan Soto To Record a Hit
Ozzie Albies will be facing off against Jon Lester and he is an incredible 7 for 9 (.778) in his career against him. The Nats have lost 4 of the last 5 games that Lester has started and he’s allowed 5 or more hits in each of his last 4 starts. It’s rare to see a matchup with a guy hitting .778 against the opposing starting pitcher. Albies has hit safely in 6 of his last 8 games.
Juan Soto just went 3 for 4 in last night’s game with a homerun and 4 RBIs. He’s hit safely in the first 2 games of this series. Soto is 0 for 6 lifetime against Braves starter Drew Smyly but Smyly is coming off of a start where he allowed 7 runs. Serve it up Drew! I don’t always go against head to head trends, but when I do, it’s with one of the best hitters in the game going up against a pitcher who is coming off of a rough start. Soto is hitting .244 against lefties compared to .302 against righties but I’m still confident that he can come up with a hit tonight off of Smyly or someone in this Braves bullpen that ranks 4th worst in the league in WHIP.
I haven’t played around much with the MLB same game parlays but they are definitely intriguing to me as long as you guys are betting on Fanduel Sportsbook. I know a lot of you are but apologies to those of you who can’t get in on this action tonight. Albies and Soto to both record a hit at -147 odds, let’s get it!
