2-1 with a JACKHAMMER win last night for a profitable night! Trae Young came through for us on the NBA player prop and the Avs come through for us in overtime. What a thrill to see that goal go in and the crowd go wild! The Clippers came up a little short and Luka had a huge night for being injured. We will take the winning night and roll it into tonight!
Bruins (-140) – The Bruins were down 3-1 in Game 2 before coming out with the sense of urgency in the 3rd period which allowed them to force overtime. They ended up losing but it was a fluke play where the puck went off a skate which created a break away goal for Cizikas. The Bruins are still the better team in this series and they are not lacking confidence after that tough finish on Monday. Tuukka only allowed 1 goal in his only start in New York this season. He has been locked in for the Playoffs and he’s led the Bruins to a 5-2 record with both of those losses coming in overtime. Tuukka should come out with another strong performance tonight despite the reports of nagging injuries flaring up. The Islanders haven’t named their starting goalie for tonight yet but the duo has allowed 3+ goals in 5 of their 8 Playoff games. Look for the B’s to be buzzing tonight and take the 2-1 lead in this series.
Result – WIN – Bruins 2 Islanders 1
David Pastrnak Over (3.5) – We hit this prop in Game 2 on Monday night and Pasta has now covered this prop in all 7 of his playoff games. Pretty nice trend to ride tonight as the B’s will be looking to take Game 3 after the tough luck in overtime in Game 2. He’s finished with 4 shots in 3 of those 7 games which is about as close of a call as you can get for this prop but he also has games where he’s had 6, 9, 6, and 7 shots on goal including his hat trick in Game 1 of this series. DK Sportsbook has this one up and Fanduel will but it seems like their NHL player props page is down right now. Maybe it’s because they know this one is such a lock. You Fanduel sportsbook users keep checking because they should have it up by the time the puck drops at 7:30. Pasta anyone??
Result – Loss – 3 total shots with a couple blocked and missed.
White Sox (Lynn) (-200) – JACKHAMMER – We smashed a big moneyline last night and it worked out for us so we are going right back to another one tonight. Some people complain about big moneylines but we make more by betting more on them rather than betting less to play run lines or puck lines and having the team only win by 1. Lance Lynn will pitch for the White Sox tonight and he comes in 6-1 on the season with a 1.37 earned run average. He hasn’t faced the Tigers yet this season but he has held them to a .206 avg in 63 at bats in his career. Casey Mize will pitch for the Tigers and he has been good this season but the White Sox beat him 6-1 in a 7 inning game earlier this season. He allowed 3 earned runs in that game. Lance Lynn has only allowed 3 earned runs in 1 of his 9 starts this season. I’m feeling pretty good about hitting this one hard tonight! Let’s build on that 7-2 JACKHAMMER run! 3 UNIT PLAY 🔨 🔨 🔨
Result – WIN – White Sox 4 Tigers 1
*Contingency play – we are only taking this one IF ANTHONY DAVIS IS ACTIVE – this likely won’t be announced until about an hour before the gametime so keep your eyes open. I will tweet/insta story as soon as the announcement comes out*
Lakers (-130) – We’ve seen how this Lakers team has played without Anthony Davis over the last 2 games and it hasn’t been pretty. However, the Lakers won the 2 games before that with him on the court thanks to him pouring in 34 points in each one of those games. Charles Barkley called him “street clothes” because he’s always in street clothes. That little comment might be exactly what AD needs for a little motivation to play through his groin injury tonight. I want no part of betting on the Lakers if he is out so be sure he is ACTIVE before you place your bets. I also think this series finds a way to get to Game 7 because it’s only fitting for LeBron to be playing in a Game 7. Call me crazy but we’ve seen how playoff series have played out over the years. I repeat, this play is only on the record if Anthony “Street Clothes” Davis is playing tonight. My gut says he will and the line has been moving in the Lakers favor throughout the day so that’s another good sign.
