I probably won’t bet on In season tournament games until the final four after seeing the Celtics and Timberwolves SOMEHOW lose to those teams they recently slaughtered last night. I forgot the NBA is really trying to promote that ANY team has a chance at winning the In Season Tournament each season and they will do what needs to be done to make that seem like a reality. 1-2 on the week for us so very slow start to the week compared to how hot we have been the last two weeks but it’s important that we stay disciplined and don’t try to do too much at once to try and match that or make up for the last few days. Let’s put together a winning hump day.

Payton Pritchard Points Over (12.5) 🥈
Pritchard is averaging 15.7 ppg this season and he’s gone over 12.5 in 9 of his last 11 games with point totals of 20, 22, & 28 during that stretch.
He had 20 against this same Nets team last week
He also had an off night last night so I’m confident in him bouncing back tonight, the Celtics bench only had 12 points last night and he had 6 of them.
Pritchard is the NBA leading scorer for a non starter with 188 and he fires up three pointers so he can rack up the points quickly.
Let’s take him to go over 12.5 tonight.

Thunder ML / Celtics ML / Northern Illinois ML / Timberwolves ML (-101) 🥇
The 9-2 Thunder are hosting the 3-8 Pelicans and the Pelicans will be missing Zion Williamson (22.7 ppg), CJ Mccollum (18.8 ppg), Jordan Hawkins (16.3 ppg), and Dejounte Murray (14 ppg). That’s a lot of production to be missing against a team averaging 117 ppg.
The Celtics blew a 15 point lead vs the Hawks without Trae Young last night, pretty pathetic. The should spark a little fire for them to come out with tonight as well as barely beating the Nets in overtime last Friday. Jaylen Brown didn’t play in that game and he will be playing tonight and he scored 37 last night.
Northern Illinois is favored by 2 touchdowns and we just need them to win straight up. It’s simple for NIU, RUN IT DOWN THEIR THROAT. NIU averaged 5 yards per carry this season and Akron is 0-6 when allowing more than 3.6 yards per carry.
The Timberwolves will get a quick turnaround chance for revenge on the Blazers tonight after last night’s embarrassment and I will double down on my statement that last night was a weird game because of the league’s positioning of the In Season Tournament that “ANY TEAM CAN WIN.” Tonight’s a regular game and the TWolves should win big.
